WELCOME TO MR. SCRIB'S PIZZA

For over 60 years Mr. Scrib's Pizza has been a staple in households throughout West Michigan as the place to go for pizza. This family-owned and operated pizzeria was started by Ken Lundholm in 1961. Since then, Mr. Scrib's has continued to grow alongside their loyal fan base.

The beginnings of this business began with a $1 wager between James Forton and Ken Lundholm who believed he could turn around the business in six short weeks. By the end of 1961, the new business was thriving. There are now five locations in West Michigan, with two franchised and three still owned by the Lundholm family. Customers return to Mr. Scrib's partly because of the fresh dough, homemade sauces, secret four cheese blend, and a legendary recipe for sausage. Mr. Scrib's fan base far extends beyond Muskegon County. There are accounts of orders being placed from New Hampshire; people driving from Detroit to West Michigan; and a mother sending a frozen pizza to her son stationed in Vietnam. 

When employees talk about working at Mr. Scrib's Pizza the word "family" is often repeated. Mr. Scrib's family-oriented business approach is what has kept some employees working there for more than 30 years. Some employees have met their spouses while working at Mr. Scrib's, and have gone on to see their children start their first job there as well. No matter the economic climate, Mr. Scrib's has weathered the storms because of loyalty earned through exceptional products, great service, and commitment to employees and customers.
